Hello! I am Anne-Sophie. Writing is my preferred tool for understanding architecture and the city. Whether on my own behalf or for others – architectural firms, project owners, exhibition curators or institutions – I create narratives about the built environment that surrounds us, from the scale of a single building to that of a territory. I will be delighted to assist you in copy- or ghostwriting your texts, in creating and coordinating your editorial projects.
After completing my studies in architecture, I decided to focus my career on writing, development and communication. Working for Dominique Perrault, acme, LAN, and Atelier Cambium in Paris, Berlin and London allowed me to explore different territories, scales and programmes, different ways of approaching and responding to commissions, and different architectural and artistic cultures. By getting involved in projects at different stages of their lifecycle, from acquisition to promotion, I became familiar with their complex and multiple challenges, the value chain and the interplay between different stakeholders. Contributing to specialist books and exhibitions, participating in the development of an agency, teaching design and training in research have broadened my scope of intervention and enriched my multidisciplinary culture.
These experiences have taught me to understand the needs of my interlocutors. They have stimulated my creativity to forge tailor-made responses. They have enabled me to navigate from a global vision to attention to detail, between French, English and German. They have sharpened my critical thinking and my writing skills.
